I have been working on something for the past couple of months. It’s a vision I have been holding since April 2022. Today I'm so excited to share this with you! Retreats for women who have Explanted, who have removed their breast implants.
If you have been following my journey, you know that on March 2, 2022, I made a simple, but a very hard decision to remove my breast implant. At the time it was probably one of the hardest decisions that I've ever had to make personally for myself; what I didn't know then is that post-surgery I would be confronted with even harder things physically, emotionally and mentally.
On the other side surgery I kept thinking about how many women have gone through this, maybe going through this alone or don't have the tools and resources to different healing modalities for healing. And not just the physical, but the emotional and mental side that is going on after going through something like this. I wanted to create a space that would offer women an opportunity to come together in community, to heal and feel supported.
I kept sitting with this idea, and in October of 2022, I met this incredible woman named Kendra Toothill, who is a scar expert. Kendra has been such a gift in my healing journey and the work that she does is on another level. I have never seen anything like it! Kendra was the missing link, the piece, that I needed to bring this retreat to life! I am so excited to share that Kendra and I have announced RECLAIM: Explant Embodiment Retreats for women who have removed their breast implants!
We are lining up a couple more retreats this year in Mexico (August) and Hawaii (November) as well. More details coming soon on both of those!
